Below is a list of answers to frequently asked questions designed to help our new patients from Old Trafford Medical Practice.

If you received a letter from OTMP advising that you are transferring to Limelight, the transfer should have take place on 28th April 2021.

If you used AskmyGP at OTMP, you can easily continue to use it here at Limelight. Just log in via the Limelight website. If you’ve never tried it before, please click on the AskmyGP button on the website and register. It’s simple to do and will allow you same day access to a doctor consultation. You do not need to book in advance and there is no waiting time for appointments.

If you have no internet access to use AskmyGP then please phone us on 0161 226 7777 and discuss your request with reception. We will be able to add your request to the system for you allowing same day access to a doctor.

Same as above – AskmyGP or phone us on 0161 226 7777. However nurse appointments are not on the same day and are booked in advance.

We have COVID-19 vaccination clinics here at Limelight and will invite you when you are eligible. If you have previously declined the vaccine but have changed your mind, please get in touch via AskmyGP or phone us.

If you had your first COVID-19 vaccination at OTMP or Delamere, we at Limelight will get in touch around 10 weeks later to book your second vaccine.

If you have regular repeat prescriptions and you need some more, the best way is to request your medication via your pharmacy or use AskmyGP or send us an email.

Alternatively, if you wish, there is a prescription request box on the wall at the door of the surgery where you can submit a paper request.

If you want to request a medication you have never had before or that you don’t have on repeat, please use AskmyGP or phone us on 0161 226 7777 to discuss as we may need a GP to call you back first.

If you had a test at the GP surgery, you can get your results in the usual way up until 28th April 2021. After this date you can contact Limelight for your result via AskmyGP.

Your referral from OTMP will proceed as normal. The hospital will be aware that you have changed GP surgery when they check.

If this page hasn’t answered your question please feel free to message us via AskmyGP with your query. We will do our best to help.

We would love to hear what you think of this guide and any other feedback.

Everytime you use AskmyGP you will be asked for your feedback. You can also leave feedback via the NHS website or simply send us any feedback by email.
