We understand that waiting times to be seen by hospital specialists are currently very long, and we appreciate how frustrating this can be.
Once your GP has sent a referral to secondary care, we do not have any influence over how long it takes for the hospital to offer an appointment. Hospital waiting times and bookings are managed entirely by secondary care services.

While we will always do our best to support you, we are unable to speed up hospital appointments or access hospital booking systems. If your symptoms worsen or change while you are waiting, please contact the practice so we can help manage your symptoms until you are seen by the specialist.
